Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or placing a booking with OHC Labs Pvt. Ltd. ("OHC Labs"), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

We may update these terms periodically. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email.

2. Our Services

OHC Labs provides:

• Home sample collection by certified phlebotomists
• Routing of samples to NABL-certified partner labs
• Digital delivery of lab reports
• Health package bookings and corporate wellness programs

OHC Labs is a technology platform that facilitates diagnostic services. We are not a diagnostic laboratory ourselves — tests are processed at our NABL-accredited partner labs.

3. User Accounts

• You must be 18 years or older to create an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You must provide accurate and complete information during registration
• Notify us immediately at support@ohclabs.in of any unauthorized account access
• One person may not maintain multiple accounts

4. Booking Policy

Scheduling

• Bookings can be made up to 30 days in advance
• Same-day bookings require at least 2 hours' notice
• Collection slots are available from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM, 7 days a week

Patient Preparation

Certain tests require fasting or specific preparation. It is the patient's responsibility to follow the preparation instructions communicated at the time of booking. Failure to follow instructions may result in sample rejection and a repeat collection fee.

Agent Arrival

While we strive for punctuality, agent arrival times may vary by ±30 minutes. In case of delays beyond 1 hour, you will be notified and given the option to reschedule at no charge.

5. Cancellation & Refund Policy

• Free cancellation: Cancel more than 1 hour before your scheduled slot — full refund within 3–5 business days
• Late cancellation: Cancel less than 1 hour before — ₹50 cancellation fee may apply
• No-show (agent): If our agent fails to arrive within 2 hours of the slot — 100% instant refund
• Sample rejection: If a lab rejects your sample for non-preparation reasons — free re-collection and processing

6. Medical Disclaimer

OHC Labs is not responsible for any medical decisions made based solely on lab reports without professional medical consultation. We strongly encourage you to share your reports with a licensed doctor.

7. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

• Use our services for any unlawful purpose
• Provide false information when booking or registering
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Use automated tools to scrape or abuse our platform
• Harass, threaten, or abuse our staff, agents, or other users
• Resell or redistribute our services without written authorization

Violation of these terms may result in immediate account suspension and potential legal action.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, OHC Labs shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Errors in lab reports caused by partner labs' processing
• Delays caused by unforeseen circumstances (natural disasters, strikes, government restrictions)
• Loss of data due to technical failures beyond our reasonable control

Our total liability in any matter shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, Karnataka.
